Villopoto takes St.Louis
Villopoto took this weeks race at St.Louis with Yoshimura Suzuki's James Stewart standing on the number two spot and TwoTwo Motorsports Chad Reed taking the number three spot. This race made it the big number four for Villopoto this season. On the first start Villotopoto did not get out of the gate in a position he wanted, he was back around mid-pack. The race then was red flagged because of JGRMX's Kyle Chisholm pertaining to an injury he received during the race. They then lined up for a second restart and Stewart aging got off the line with Villopoto getting off the line in fourth. He then battled his way past Reed in third and Barcia in second. Finally he had his eyes set on Stewart and by the end of the eleventh lap Villopoto had slid his way into first place taking it from Stewart and never looked back. Stewart then held down second place having another good run two weeks in a row. Millsaps is still holding down the points lead but Villopoto seems to be closing the gap between the two of them. He is now only twelve points behind Millsaps.
