Stewart's switch to Suzuki
As many of you know Stewart came into the 2013 supercross not on his JGRMX Yamaha but on a fresh new Suzuki. He claimed that he was not happy with his JGR Yamaha or with his Pirelli tires. He said that his Yamaha bike just was not cutting it for him. He also claimed that one race he didn't even use his sponsors Pirelli tires, he instead used a Dunlop tire. The story goes that Stewart had tested out a Suzuki before signing with JGRMX and Yamaha and liked the Suzuki much better but still went with Yamaha because they offered him a better deal than Suzuki did. Stewart is now signed with the Yoshimura Suzuki team with a multi-year contract and will be riding Suzuki for the remained of the 2013 MX season. Stewart signed with Suzuki within 24 hours after dropping the Joe Gibbs Racing MX Yamaha team.
